Reflection
This was one of my first college classes to take in almost nine years and the only code I had written was DOS. I was able to
create a web page from a blank sheet! I have always been interested with HTML coding, but had no experience with it at all. This
course was structured so that I was able to learn the parts of a page and then combine all those small parts into a full web page
design. I learned how to write code that would be viewable regardless of the browser used. I learned how to make a web page accessible
for all learners and the importance of what a web page communicates to the public. The basic concepts of good web design will give me the
knowledge to prepare web pages that are not only functional, but efficient as well. Although I'm far from being an expert, I learned
enough to enable me to create web pages. I hope to take another class to further my web development skills. I'm
responsible for the upkeep on our school web page so this class will has been very useful for my web page duties. My final project was to re-design our
current web page. This project is listed under the artifacts, and although, it isn't a complete product it is a start. This course will help me tremendously.
