Electronic Portfolio Development
Course Description, from MU Direct
Portfolios are excellent tools assessing
student learning over an extended period,
but keeping learning artifacts organized and accessible
is a challenge. This course will introduce you to electronic portfolios -
a digital solution to documenting student achievement in a standards-based
curriculum.
Reflection
In my experience as a teacher, I have known many colleagues who have created
portfolios. I am the first to create one electronically. This course provided
the time, and feedback needed to create an effective and complete portfolio.
The schedule provided kept me working at the pace needed, and the peer feedback really
helped me to consider the audience of my portfolio.
I truly enjoyed looking back at my accomplishments throughout this program. When my portfolio was complete, I realized all that I'd done. I am proud of all of the work that I've done in this program, and especially proud of my portfolio, as it really has showcased all I've learned in this program.
