Hands-on approach to multimedia production techniques. Develops understanding of image software, video software, and scanners, digital cameras, digital video cameras, graphics tablets. (3 credit hours)
When I enrolled in this course, I was concerned that it was a bit of a step backward having already completed Digital Video Production. However, the imaging and audio components were somewhat new to me and proved highly valuable. In my class next year, I am planning on including a new unit on image editing which should be enjoyable for the students. The digital video project also offerered me an opportunity to further practice my video editing skills and also allowed me to create a nice Christmas gift for my family.
