Personal Reflection

I have to admit that the title of this course intimidated me quite a bit at first, but it ended up being one of my favorite classes.  I never realized that implementing change in an organization was such a complex and well-researched process.  For me, it was particularly beneficial when we examined communication networks.  I researched the network in my own school and was surprised to uncover the "opinion leaders" in our organization.  I also found myself somewhat on the peripheral of the communication network.  These discoveries led me to some important realizations, particularly that I need to form some more connections, especially with the our opinion leaders, if I intend to put my educational technology training to use outside of my own classroom.
