My teaching experience has come from working with high school students in the inner city school district of Kansas City, Missouri.  As their Business, Graphic Art and Multimedia teacher, I was privileged to see how quickly they learned with the integration of computers and the Internet in a classroom computer lab. It was one of the few classrooms where the students were usually on-task completing their assignments.

My Philosophy of Learning is influenced by what I have learned both in and out of the classroom. Understanding learning theories and learning how to create a detailed lesson plan or instructional design has made me a better teacher, however observing how students learn and what is absorbed quickly has also been a benefit. Each class in this program strengthened my core beliefs in the use of technology for the benefit of my students and myself.
