Every year, I give a presentation at the Kansas City TechNet conference, which brings together teachers to talk about how they are using technology in their classrooms, and teach others how to do the same.
2007
Web 2.0
At this point, not many people really understood know what "Web 2.0" actually meant. This session covered the historical context for Web 2.0, what it currently meant, and why it was so important.
2008
Getting the Most out of the Internet
This presentation covered using Firefox and Google to make web usage much more efficient. This session covered tips to help turn users into "power users." Many of the more advanced offerings from Google were covered, including sections of Google Documents and their other web applications, automated search conversions and many others.

Using Ubiquity to Interact with the Web
Ubiquity is a new Firefox extension from Mozilla Labs that enables interaction with information in a way similar to mashups, but customizable for any instance. It provides immediate access to information to the user for manipulation however they want to use it.
