9085 - Problems in ISLT (co-facilitating 7378)

Return to Overview

Semester:  Summer 2009

Course Description*

Independent, directed study on a topic in the areas of information science and learning technologies. I assisted Aimee Klimczak in facilitating "Electronic Portfolio Development" by sharing my experience and offering feedback to fellow students. (3 credit hours)

Personal Reflection

Having already completed Electronic Portfolio Development as part of my Master's degree, I wasn't sure how I would meet my portfolio requirement this time around. However, when Dr. Klimczak offered me the opportunity to assist her in co-facilitating the portfolio course while updating my own portfolio, I jumped at the chance. Being able to offer assistance and feedback to other graduate students has not only proven rewarding, but it has given me the confidence to seek other online teaching opportunities in the future.
