| In my eMINTS training and graduate coursework, I have become proficient in a wide variety of technology skills. Whether it is a classroom tool created with Microsoft word, a student template made with Inspiration, or web design skills that enhance my fourth grade classroom, the techniques I have gained help to create a strong foundation of knowledge on which to build meaningful learning activities. | |

As a teacher, I continue to learn and grow through many outlets. I participate in the eMINTS discussion list to collaborate online with other educators. I serve on my school district's Technology Committee. I attend conferences and workshops to further enhance my knowledge. I utilize message boards and online resources regularly. I also plan and provide workshops for teachers in my school. These workshops not only help me to grow as an educator, but help others in my district to grow as well. Recent presentations have included: How to Moodle, Digital Storytelling, and SmartBoards in the Classroom. |
