Portfolios are excellent tools assessing student learning over an extended period, but keeping learning artifacts organized and accessible is a challenge. This course will introduce you to electronic portfolios - a digital solution to documenting student achievement in a standards-based curriculum. Website development experience and Instructor consent required.

A porfolio should be much more than just a test score or a snapshot. A portfolio should be a cross-section of resources and artifacts gathered together to demonstrate profienciency and success in a program. As an educator, I often use portfolios to gauge my students' successes. In this course, I learned how to use my portfolio to demonstrate my own accomplishments in educational technology.
